LAST NIGHT’S snowfall caused minor problems on roads and public transport throughout East Hampshire this morning.

Rail passengers were among the worst affected as a tree fell on the line between Petersfield and Rowlands Castle.Train services between Petersfield and Havant are now running normally with a replacement bus service running between the latter and Guildford for much of the morning. No accidents were reported on the A3 but surface water and slush caused a few issues through the Butser cutting.
