MORE than £2,000 was raised for Macmillan Cancer after a Covid-compliant fundraiser at the Harrow Inn between Steep and Sheet was extended.

Joint organiser Selina Garstin said: “It was a great result and despite the crazy weather, we had people popping in with donations and buying flowers and produce all week. We’ve ended up with £2,019 which is amazing. Claire and Nisa McCutcheon and Tony Clear from the pub and I are really grateful for the terrific support. We couldn’t have imagined it going so well, so a big thank you to everyone.”
