FILM fans are well catered for again this month, with a classic, an action picture and a relationship drama on offer in Petersfield.
The New Savoy Cinema at the Festival Hall is showing The Water Diviner on Thursday, December 17, at 2pm for a 2.30pm start.
This stars Russell Crowe in the account of an Australian man who travels to Turkey after the Battle of Gallipoli to find his missing sons. That evening, at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, see Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay in 45 Years, one of the year’s best films, about the unravelling of a couple as they approach their 45th anniversary.
Michael Caine stars in The Italian Job, combining cracking lines with classic minis, at Fork Handles on Saturday, December 19, with dinner from 7pm and the film at 9pm.
