Petersfield Museum’s extensive photographic archive holds more than 100,000 photographs of life in Petersfield and surrounding villages.
Dating as far back as the Victorian period these photographs represent all areas of life in Petersfield and act as a window into Petersfield in days gone by.
Although our photographs give us an insight into the past often we only have the photographer’s short notes to tell us what is happening.
This photograph ladled as ‘Book Club Display in Winton House’.
We would love to find out more about who is in the picture, what does it capture? Who remembers taking part? If you can tell us more about this image we would love to hear form you.
