Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am July 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Milford, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A27, from 8pm May 20 to 6am May 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A27 eastbound, Harts Farm to Langstone, slip road and lane closure's for maintenance works.

A3, from 8pm May 21 to 6am May 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, QE2 Country Park, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.

A3, from 8pm June 2 to 6am June 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A27, from 9.30pm June 2 to 6am June 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 both directions Harts Farm Way, link road and lane closures for maintenance work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
