THE QUEEN’S 90th birthday will be celebrated at Petersfield Museum with a free open day on Saturday (April 23).

A curator’s talk about the royal connections in the collections at the museum will be given from 11-11.40am.

Those items related to the royal family will be taken out of storage to show.

And from 2-3.30pm there will be children’s fun at Flora Twort Gallery, with youngsters invited to dress up and make a crown.

This is one of three free days to be held through this year. The others are on Saturday, July 23, and Saturday, September 10.
