LISS Infant School’s Christmas Fayre was a big success, say organisers.

The event was held on Saturday, and there were a variety of stalls to entertain visitors.

Among the entertainment on offer was a Santa’s Grotto, a penalty shoot-out, face painting and a photo booth.

Refreshments were available, and Liss Band brought a musical flavour to the day.

Liss Neighbourhood Plan volunteers also had a stall to tell people about the plan.

Liss Infant School Parent-Teacher Association vice-chairwoman Zoe Snow said: “The fayre was a success, and we were quite busy.

“The theme was Santa’s workshop, and we raised around £2,500 to £3,000. We are continuing to fundraise for our outdoor space, and we are raising funds for an all-weather path to go around the perimeter of the field.

“Thank you to everyone who donated anything, baked a cake and helped with the running of the day.”
