LISS Junior School’s summer fair on Saturday was a big success, say organisers.
The fair was held at the school and included a pet show, the scarecrow prize giving, gymnastics displays, class stalls, a coconut shy and a bouncy castle.
The school’s parent teacher association (PTA) provided refreshments and a barbecue.
School PTA chairman Louise Batt said: “The summer fair was a fantastic success and there was a great turnout.

“All monies raised from the fair will go towards a traversing wall, and we are well on our way to getting the funds we need for it.
“We had great support from teachers and the PTA, and I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped.”
