TRELOAR School and College for East Hampshire youngsters with disabilities is inviting people to run the 2016 London Marathon to raise money for the college.
Treloar’s has much sought after places available for the marathon on Sunday, April 24, and are looking for individuals to take on the challenge, have an amazing day and help raise funds to change the lives of the colleges' young students.
A college spokesman said: “In return for a place, we ask participants to raise a minimum sponsorship of £2,000. We use this money to provide each of our students with life enhancing skills and equipment that unlocks their potential and gives them a chance at a more independent life.
“If you think you are in a position to make, or ideally smash, this target, please let us know.”
To help raise money, the college will provide a fundraising pack, and each runner will get a personal Team Treloars running vest, and support along the way – from training tips to cheerleaders on the day.
And afterwards runners will be offered Treloar Time – special visits to see how the money raised is spent.
