AN ALRESFORD school has received national recognition for being a high-performing school. Perins School has been handed two Educational Outcomes awards by the Schools, Students and Teachers Network (SSAT) after the school joined the group’s Leading Edge network.

The awards were received for Perins being in the top ten per cent of non-selective schools nationally for attainment and also being in the top 20 per cent for progress last year at the end of the key stage four exams.

Headteacher Steve Jones said:?“I?am delighted that the hard work and dedication from both staff and students is being recognised. As a school we are continuing to build on these successes and the future for Perins is most certainly looking bright.”
