AFTER a few days of frenzied baking and some amazing cake creations a school popular with East Hampshire parents and pupils raised more than £375 at their Macmillan coffee morning.

As well as a wider catchment area, St Ives Forest School at Haslemere has pupils from Petersfield, Liss, Liphook and Alton.

St Ives headmistress Kay Goldsworthy said: “I’m very proud of the effort all our children all put in to making the coffee morning very special. Everyone had given thought and attention to their bakes and there really were some spectacular cakes on show. The Macmillan coffee morning is a time when we can give back to others and instil in the children a sense of understanding of the issues that Macmillan is fundraising for.”
