AN EVENT which attracted dozens of mods to Petersfield officially rocked as it raised more than £200 for charity.

Organisers of the Petersfield Scooter Sunday event have confirmed this year’s fun raised £221 for The Rowans Hospice.

The third annual get-together in the town centre included a competition, raffle and a DJ set by the Soul Pressure Sound System.

It attracted at least 300 scooters, according to Martyn Constable, of town centre men’s clothing store The Five Fifteen, which co-organised the event with The Square Brewery and Petersfield and Liss Scooters Club.
