THE OWNERS of a Petersfield sewing shop are delighted to have come runner-up twice in national awards.

Sew Creative in Lavant Street came second in the Best Independent Haberdashery Shop for the South of England, and in the Best for Sewing Workshops and Courses categories in the British Sewing Awards 2015.

Steven Watts, who runs Sew Creative with his wife Jo, said:?“These awards by Sew Magazine are amazing considering the long-established competition and the fact that we are only a year and a half old.

“Naturally, we are delighted, especially as the awards are voted for by customers and are testament to the sewing skills and creative passion clearly evident in the people of Petersfield and the surrounding areas.”

Sew Creative sells fabrics designed by the likes of Liberty, Zandra Rhodes and Kaffe Fassett, and sewing and craft accessories. It has a sewing studio and craft workshops. For more visit www.sewcreative.org.uk
