WITH her third exhibition in Petersfield since moving to Sheet two years ago, Christine Gaut will be showing her vibrant oils.
This time she is exhibiting at the gallery at the Physic Garden in High Street, from Saturday, July 22, to Saturday, July 29, inclusive.
Christine has a fascination with the beautiful landscape that surrounds her in her adopted village.
She paints in oils which gives her the freedom to “splash on the paint”. This brings to life her images of flowers, trees, gardens and boats.
Since moving here, she has caught the lovely hollyhocks that are such a feature in Sheet.
She has exhibited on her own many times, and has paintings all over the world now. And she will be one of the many artists showing work at the annual exhibition of Petersfield Arts and Crafts Society in August too.
Her paintings, with prices from £125, will be on sale at the Physic Garden, and there will be signed prints and cards too. Admission is free and opening hours are 10am to 4pm.
