A COMMUNITY event in Sheet saw more than 90 adults and children pose for aerial photographs.

Held in the Millennium Field on Sunday (April 23), the main event saw the crowd creating shapes such as a butterfly by holding coloured boards on their heads and being photographed from above

Event spokesman Lucy Pringle of Town Lane said: “It was enormous fun as it took a certain amount of organising and dogs also wanted to join in, but weren’t supposed to be in the picture.

“Brian Bird was the directing master of ceremonies and marshalled everyone into their positions without too many mistakes and a lot of laughter, and Will Glancy was in charge of taking the pictures from above with his drone – and the barbecue did a roaring business during the afternoon. All in all it was a huge success.”
