NOW ALMOST a regular at Petersfield’s Write Angle, songwriter, guitarist and singer Greg Harper writes and performs with passion and honesty.

He is celebrated for his ability to combine evocative melodies with genuinely thought-provoking lyrics.

His songs cover our history, aspirations, loves and lives and have been used to promote many diverse issues from the drawing of attention to the loss of ancient woodland, by the Woodland Trust, to raising awareness of the dangers of fracking. They’ve been described as ‘very beautiful, poignant and haunting’.

Greg was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Competition and has performed in venues ranging from folk festivals to folk clubs, pubs to Parliament, theatres to farms, poetry events, castles, churches, chapels, village halls and country barns, and will be gigging at Brunny Folk Club, Underground Theatre, Coastal Connections, Woodies Folk, Clapham, Meet of the Tongue, Willows Folk Club and Scrag End Folk.

Write Angle is also keen to show its own talent at the open mic session for poets, singers and musicians after the guest’s performance.

Entry is £6 on the door. For full details, visit: www.petersfieldwriteangle.co.uk
