THERE are some frightfully-good and enchanting events happening at Butser Ancient Farm and Queen Elizabeth Country Park (QECP) over the next week or so.

From October 23-27, there will be some Halloween Happenings at Queen Elizabeth Country Park at 10am.

There will be spooky arts and crafts, a tractor ride through a mystical forest, following pumpkins to the creepy cauldron and finishing things off with a magic show in the park’s theatre.

A spooky storytelling session and spirit hunt will be taking place at Butser Ancient Farm on Wednesday,?October 25, which is suitable for all the family. Storytelling will be with Fayebles where listeners can learn about Fairy Bigtoe’s latest adventures.

Back at QECP on Saturday, October 28, people can aboard a fantastical voyage to the Nonsense World of Edward Lear, including The Owl and the Pussycat, The Jumblies and The Dong with a Luminous Nose. This will be in the Little Theatre at 11.30am, 2.15pm and 4pm.

Suitable for all ages from seven. Admission is free but booking is essential.
