The Vicar of St Peter’s, Canon Will Hughes, said: “We were blessed with wonderful weather, and very grateful to the hundreds of visitors. We are part and parcel of the community, and days like this are a way of serving that community.”
A fete spokesman added: “All the stalls were busy, and we sold hundreds of burgers, and there was also lovely Italian food from church member, Fulvia James.
“We were also pleased the Bowmen of Petersfield and the Petersfield Ukulele Orchestra could join us. In their different ways they contributed a great deal.”
