TRACTION engine rides around Petersfield on Sunday aboard the ‘Victoria Empress of India’ in glorious sunshine were well received, said Victoria’s owner, author Wendy Wakelin.
“With the sun shining and Bill Gosney of Petersfield Museum as the tour guide, it was a very successful day, and lots of happy travellers enjoyed the ride,” she said.
The event was organised by the museum, and included music from an old-fashion organ, and re-enactors in Victorian costume.
Fork Handles Kitchen provided refreshments.
