ONE OF the best Steep Flower Shows in memory – that was the verdict on this year’s event.

The show, held in the grounds of Bedales school on August 26, attracted over 100 exhibitors and entries were up by five per cent on the previous year, bringing a total of 650 exhibits.

The sunny Bank Holiday weather brought the crowds out too, and they enjoyed teas and delicious cakes while listening to the music supplied by Millennium Jazz.

Guest of honour at the event, Alex Bridger from Ashford Farm, presented the prizes to the winners.
