THERE’LL be a rootin’ tootin’ start to the season at Petersfield Open Air Pool on Saturday.

The cast of Annie Get Your Gun, being performed in May by Petersfield Theatre Group, will cut the ribbon at 11am to officially open the pool.

There will be barbecue food on offer, and the chance to meet staff, committee members and swimming teachers.

Season tickets will be available to buy, and discounted tickets. Lessons can be booked for swimming and diving.

The heated pool in the Festival Hall car park in Heath Road is open to swimmers from 8am on Saturday. It boasts a cafe area, hot showers and traditional changing booths.
