STROUD Evening WI is always happy welcome new members to come along and enjoy talks and socialising.

At its October meeting in Steep village hall, members learned about the intricacies of chocolate making.

Member Deirdre Mitchell said: “We were treated to an evening of chocolate delights. Mark Willis Cake Creator and Artisan Chocolatier took us through the joys of melted chocolate – making matchsticks, lollies, mints, a chocolate bowl to serve them in and also decorating a cake – which we later tasted and which was the most delicious cake ever. Along the way we learned lots of tips too.”
