THE popular fundraising Denmead Horseshows have successfully completed their season with a busy, well-attended autumn show, despite nearly not making it through the pandemic.

Based at Forest Road, the annual four shows raise money for the local Denmead Swings and Things charity.

Organiser Felicity Hull said: “There were some hairy moments during the past 18 months when we weren’t sure if we could make a comeback – but boy, were we wrong!

“A massive thank you to our generous sponsors, our amazing judges, stewards, show secretary, put-up and take-down crew and everyone who works very hard to keep things running on time and smoothly.

“Most of all, though, to our competitors. We couldn’t, and wouldn’t, do it without you. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support and look forward very much to seeing you next year.”
