IF YOU’RE hopelessly devoted to cinema then don’t miss an afternoon of film and fun in Sheet this weekend.

An outdoor screening of Sing-a-long Grease at the Queen’s Head should be a highlight of this year’s Sheet Film Festival.

The opening credits of the John Travolta and Olivia Newton John classic will roll at 7.30pm this Saturday. It will follow a competition in the village hall with budding movie-makers being challenged to produce a short film or photo with a holiday theme.

The deadline for entries is this Friday and films must be no longer than three minutes long.

Further highlights will include performances by the Rock School Band, Grease Dance Workshop and the Batala Drummers, with a barbecue at 2.30pm.
