DUST off your dancing shoes – ‘Strictly’ is coming to East Meon.

A glittering evening of dance, when the glitzier the gown or the sharper the suit the better, is being held on Saturday, March 19, at 7pm in East Meon Village Hall.

Learn how to foxtrot, salsa, jive, Argentinian tango and more while raising funds for East Meon’s adopted village of the earthquake hit Bandipur in Nepal.

Bandipur was devastated by the earthquake of April 2015, and East Meon started up a campaign to help build shelters and sustain food resources.

So far, the East Meon Bandipur Earthquake Relief Scheme (EMBERS) has raised £1,518 which has funded 18 shelters.

The dance event, organised by EMBERS, will boost the much-needed coffers further.

Wine and beer will be available to buy on the night.
