AN INFORMATIVE talk called 'My ancestor came from Hampshire' is to be given by a local genealogist at Petersfield Library as part of Libraries Week.
Professionally qualified genealogist and Director of Education for the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies Les Mitchinson, will give the one-off presentation on how people can discover their Hampshire heritage.
As well as exploring the facilities a library has to offer, he will also include information about records to be found in city and county offices and answer any questions about family history research.
