A TEENAGER who suffered concussion after coming off his motorbike in Petersfield has thanked shoppers for coming to his aid.
Jake Tribe came off his motorbike at 4.03pm last Monday on Dragon Street trying to avoid a pedestrian who stepped into the road.
The 17-year-old was taken to hospital for a precautionary CT scan and X-ray after shoppers rushed to his aid.
“I would like to thank and give my appreciation to everyone who ran to me,” wrote Jake on Facebook.
Jake tried to contact the pedestrian involved, to let her know that he was not seriously injured, but was disappointed to find himself blocked. He has since launched a crowdfunding page to raise £500 for motorbike repairs and new protective equipment.
