The teenager was remanded in custody because of the seriousness of the offence, ruled magistrates.
At the court hearing on Tuesday, April 26, she didn’t enter a plea of either guilty or not guilty, and she is now due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, May 25, to answer two charges.
As well as attempted murder, she has been charged with threatening a person with a blade or sharp pointed article during the incident at about 9.30am, on Monday, April 25.
A 15 year-old girl who received treatment at Queen Alexandria Hospital in Portsmouth for minor injuries to her chest, is now recovering at home, said a police spokesman.
