Fury in Froxfield as East Hampshire landlord tells Labour MPs: "You're barred"The Petersfield team came a commendable fifth out of 27 teams of 16 rowers battling it out in boats with fiery dragons at the front at Lakeside, Northarbour.
Their colleagues at the Portsmouth depot pipped them for third place, with both teams raising £1,142 for the Petersfield-based charity FitzRoy, which improves the lives of people with learning disabilities.
Petersfield skipper Sally Williams was full of praise for her intrepid crew who were cheered on by FitzRoy users. The charity’s community and fundraising manager Jim Apted said:?“It is thrilling for the people we support to watch the SSEN teams rowing their hearts out.”
