GRAFFITI is being positively encouraged at The Garage in Petersfield.
Romantics are being invited to write Valentine messages to their loved ones on the frontage of the vintage emporium in the central car park, with donations to charity.
Owner Cressy Luke already has collected £150 for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children from the heart-felt scribblings.
It has become a multi-lingual display with sweet nothings penned in Polish, French, German, Arabic, Croatian, Latin and more.
Cressy had the idea after taking down her festive display which won the Post’s Christmas window competition.
She was left with the red fabric on the front of her pop-up shop, so decided to put it to good use with the messages which can be cut out and given to the recipients after Valentine’s Day.
“People have told me they think it’s a really sweet idea,” she said.
