PLANT hunters looking to spruce up their gardens for spring and summer should head for two sales on Saturday, May 6.
Winton House, the community hub in High Street, Petersfield, is holding a plant sale from 9.30am to noon.
And some of Haslemere’s best-stocked gardens will be providing unusual plants for the town museum’s Spring Plant Sale, from 11am to 1pm.
There will be a huge array of perennials, summer bedding, vegetables, herbs, shrubs and garden accessories on offer in the museum’s Lecture Hall.
Expert advice will also be offered at a free garden surgery, and the cafe will be open from 10.30am to 1pm.
Proceeds will go towards the museum in High Street, a charitable trust.
