South Downs Care in the community as £3,500 handed to Dementia Friendly PetersfieldAround 30 people, mostly from Womans’ Institute groups in the Petersfield area, gathered in St Peter’s Church on Saturday for a ‘crafternoon’, to make green hearts for an event in the town on Valentine’s Day tomorrow (Tuesday, February 14).
There will be stalls, entertainment and food, with people wearing and sharing the hearts, in The Square from 11am to 2pm, for nation campaign ‘Show the Love’.
Organised by the Climate Coalition, the UK’s largest environmental group, and the Women’s Institute, this is about showing love for the planet, with the usual red Valentine’s hearts being swapped for green.
