TIME is ticking – or not – on a fundraising drive to get the 159-year-old clock of St Peter's Church going again.

Time has stood still in Petersfield Square since October. Now up to £7,000 must be found to repair the pre-Victorian timepiece.

A 'clock face' will be installed in the church before Easter with people asked to contribute £30 'a minute'.

Repairs will be made to the wiring and electronics, and it is hoped to fit an auto clock corrector....
