A HEADLINER with an international reputation is one of the top acts in another cracking night at the Petersfield Comedy Club.

Markus Birdman who is opening the show on Monday, December 5, at The Folly Wine and Ale House, has had a highly successful career which has taken in festivals, tours and TV and radio appearance.

He has been described by a BBC?reviewer as:?“The all-round package; witty, controversial, hip, topical, silly. A master of timing and physical comedy, he made me laugh so much it hurt.”

It’s been a while since he was at the town’s monthly comedy night, and audiences will no doubt be very happy indeed to welcome him back.

Regulars will already know and love Raymond and Mr Timpkins, who are headlining.

“This act can only really close the show as nothing and no-one can follow it,” said club organiser Chaz Collett. “These guys have a lot to say, in a most unique and hilarious way. They will bring the house down, again.”

The very much up-and-coming Alistair Williams (pictured), who has been a hit at The London Comedy Store, is the middle act. He describes his style as “the ramblings of a moron.”

And holding it all together is MC Jay Handley.

Tickets are £10, available from the Folly Bar in advance, or on the door on the night. Call 07766 692322 for more.
