THE TOP five pupils at Ditcham Park School this summer attained 55 A* and A grades between them.
Parents gathered in sunshine high on the South Downs to celebrate their children’s achievements and for them to say goodbye before moving on to other schools and colleges to continue their education.
Headmaster Rob Connolly was proud of the successes of all the year group in a tougher academic climate with new courses.
"It is clear to us results are flatter this year with more rigorous marking, making it harder to achieve the A* and A grades," he said.
"As we are not a highly selective school, the successes are even more pleasing and our top five have done really well."
