GREEN-fingered pupils and staff at Bedales prep school Dunhurst between Step and Petersfield have been given a top award for their work from the UK’s leading gardening charity, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

Every child in the school has been involved in horticulture, from growing fruit and vegetables to building compost bins, and the top level has been reached in the RHS Campaign for School Gardening as a result.

Dunhurst has been given £200 in garden vouchers and a plaque to put on display.
