It also owns the Love Lane playing fields and the site of Petersfield Town Football Club stadium.
At the council meeting in the Town Hall on February 22, councillors voted to use money from developers’ contributions to pay for CCTV and chose Cllr Paul Strawbridge to continue looking in to the viability of installing cameras.
They will be aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour at both venues; there have been complaints about drug taking and vandalism on the Love Lane playing fields, and the stadium clubhouse has been broken into at least twice in recent times.
