BUNTING is up, bands booked, vintage cars polished, cakes baked, street and garden parties arranged – the town is set to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee from 7pm today in the Square.

One of the bigger events will be the 1950s-themed Jubilee Fete hosted by Petersfield Town Council on Saturday from 10am to 6pm at the Avenue playing fields.

There will be live music, stalls, a bar and other refreshments, a dog show, competitions, and games.
