Petersfield Museum’s extensive photographic archive holds over 100,000 photographs of life in Petersfield and surrounding villages.

Dating as far back as the Victorian period, these photographs represent all areas of life in Petersfield and act as a window into the town in days gone by.

This photo from 1963 is of Constable Jamieson with Petersfield’s very own champion police dog.
