A TEENAGE girl was assaulted and a man was punched in the face during a ’public disorder incident’ near Petersfield Town Football Club at the weekend, according to the police.
Police were called to Love Lane around 4.10pm on Saturday amid reports of a melee involving a group of teenagers.
It was reported during the incident that a man in his 30s was punched in the face and that a 17-year-old girl was also assaulted.
Both victims needed medical attention with an ambulance being called.

The pair have been released from custody but remain under investigation with enquiries ongoing.
