POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses after thieves stole several animals from a Meon Valley farmyard.
Six black and white pigmy goats, two brown/black gelded donkeys and six ferrets were stolen from a field off Long Road, Soberton, sometime between 4pm on Sunday, January 28, and 11am the following morning.
Various items of tack were also stolen from the rural site along with a green and silver Ifor Williams cattle trailer.
