Hot drinks will be offered in return for honest views when a Policing and Crime feedback event takes place in Petersfield this weekend.

Your voice matters, and now it’s your chance to use it: that’s the message from Donna Jones as a focus group hosted by the Office of Hampshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner will set up shop in Petersfield Library this Saturday.

People with questions, concerns or comments about policing in the town have been invited to speak up about “what really matters” between 10am and midday.

A spokesperson said: “How safe do you feel in your community? Do you trust your local policing teams? What’s working and what needs to change?

“Whether you’ve got concerns, praise or bold ideas, we want to hear them. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of policing in your area.”

Feedback from the two-hour event will go directly to the commissioner.

Guests can expect a welcoming atmosphere, hot drinks and meaningful conversation. No experience needed, just honest views.
