THE GILBERT White House and museum in Selborne is opening its doors for a volunteering open day.
Anyone with an interest in the house and The Oates Collection in it, are invited to visit the site on Thursday, February 8, to find out more about being a volunteer there.
The day starts at 11am in the Gilbert White Field Studies Centre, with a meet and greet by current volunteers and staff, who will be happy to chat about the volunteer roles available.
These include working in the garden, room stewarding, helping with events, costumed interpretation or working behind the scenes with the museum collections.
