MORE than 40 voters asked in Petersfield have given their thoughts on how they will vote in tomorrows in or out EU referendum.
Here are just some of their views.
Michael Butcher of Rogate said: “I’m definitely voting to leave the European Union (EU). We spend so much money a week on the EU and we wouldn’t have to spend that money. We wouldn’t be held back by human rights and we would have proper justice.”
Anna Quinn of Clanfield said: “I’m voting to remain in the European Union as I think we have been in it too long to get out of it now. It would be like cutting an arm off. If we leave the European Union I think other countries then might leave it as well.”
Alf Williamson of Petersfield said: “I’m voting to remain in the European Union as I think we are better off in the European Union than out of it. Also, if we want to reform the European Union then we are better positioned to do that if we are part of it.”
George Wright of Petersfield said: “I’m going to vote to leave the European Union as we need to get our sovereignty back and take back control of our borders and our laws. When we were on our own before and had control of everything we were fine.”
Richard Cross of Cambridge said: “I’ve already done my postal vote to remain in the European Union. The main reason is economic, and I believe in pooled sovereignty and the idea of being stronger together. I also don’t see that immigration is a big problem.”
Lance Horner of Adelaide, Australia said: “I can’t vote as I now live in Australia, but I would vote to stay in the European Union. I believe the economy will be better off if we stay in the European Union, and the country will be better for the future generations.”
