MORE than 40 voters asked in Petersfield have given their thoughts on how they will vote in tomorrows in or out EU referendum.
Here are just some of their views.
Ross Lightly of Stroud said: “I will be voting to stay in the European Union (EU) because if we leave the European Union I think it will cause more mayhem. It is safer to stay in the European Union and keep things like they are now at the moment.”
Clive Lewis of Horndean said: “I’m voting in based on facts, not out on speculative guesswork. The only unbiased information has been from non-political organisations. The out campaign has been based around Boris Johnson trying to re-write history.”
Wayne Tallon of Petersfield said: “I’m going to vote, but still have to decide finally, I’m just fed up of the squabbling. But whatever the result, what happens next is out of our hands, neither side listens to Joe Public and we won’t have a say in what happens.”
Dave Knight of Whitehill said: “I’m definitely out, we should never have gone in in the first place. We were fine when we weren’t in, and we will be fine if we come out. Other countries shouldn’t run Britain, but this isn’t a vote for a political party.”
Brian Clark of Liss said: “There’s been enough information about the issues, and I’m going to vote, and I have no worries about what happens afterwards, I don’t think there will be a lot of difference to every day life if we stay in or come out.”
Anne Squire of Denmead said: “This will have a big effect on my two boys. My 22-year-old son wants to be able to work in Europe so I’m going to vote in, but there’s been a lot of mud slinging, and it’s become very emotional rather than factual.”
