MORE than 40 voters asked in Petersfield have given their thoughts on how they will vote in tomorrows in or out EU referendum.

Here are just some of their views.

Gaynor Child of Clanfield said: “I’m all for leaving. I want us to have more control over decisions and I don’t want people we’ve never heard of making decisions for us. Nothing has swayed me recently to change my mind, I’m going with my gut feeling.”

Steve Rosenthal of Purbrook said: “I’ve got a lot of concerns about the European Union because it strikes me as being quite undemocratic at times but I think it makes sense to stay. I’m hoping it will wake them up and force them to make changes.”

Andy Redding of Horndean said: “I’m voting to stay in. I think when you look at the general quality of the people that say we should leave, and compare that to the general quality of the people that want to stay, I think that speaks for itself.”

Noreen Barfield of Rowlands Castle said: “I don’t know yet as somebody still has to convince me. I’ve listened to everything but I just don’t know. If I can’t make up my mind then I’ll just abstain, but I think they should leave the big decisions to the clever people.”

Martin Chappell of Havant said: “I’m out. It’s the whole thing over immigration and sovereignty that does it for me along with having control over our own borders. That’s been my opinion for 40 years. It’s about being in control of our own destiny.”

Ann Hobbs of Clanfield said: “I’m still undecided but I’m more out than in at the moment. I think may be we should come out but we’ll lose a lot of things if we do. People like travelling over to the Continent to retire so I wonder if that would change.”
