It aims to help maintain people’s social skills while exploring their creative side.
Artscape director Mandie Letchford said: “The title Resilience came about after discussions with members of Artscape around current terminology used within the care sector. Resilience is often used alongside mindfulness and wellbeing and, therefore, created some debate amongst us as to what these terms actually mean or indeed what is actually being offered.
“Resilience according to the dictionary explanation is having the power or ability to return to the original form or position after being bent or compressed, along with the ability to recover from illness, depression or adversity likened to remaining buoyant.
“Resilience is exactly what Artscape prides itself on achieving within its participants, along with having fun, learning new skills and exploring creativity whilst drinking copious amounts of tea.”
The museum in St Peter’s Road, is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
