PETERSFIELD Police are appealing for information after cars were broken into and items were stolen, and also issuing a plea for motorists to step up security measure when they park their vehicles.

The cars were broken over the weekend starting Friday, January 27, at Winchester road by Tollbar cottages, Sunwood Lane near Ditcham Woods, and Ramsdean Lane at Stroud.

Petersfield and East Hampshire Police Community Support Officer Kieran Rogers said: “If you have any information relating to these incidents please call 101 and pass on any information to the call taker.

“Look out for any suspicious activity and report it to police immediately, and please also look out for vulnerable, or elderly neighbours.

“If you have security lighting, CCTV, alarms or other measures use them.”
