VILLAGERS enjoyed spreading some festive cheer at an annual Christmas fair.

West Meon hosted the fair as people of all ages enjoyed some mouth watering food and browsed stalls for Christmas gifts.

Organiser Diana Gordge said: “It went very well. We didn’t expect that many people to turn up but we were all pleased with how many people have supported the event.

“The people in the village are very sociable and there is always something happening that brings the community together, whether it is the pub, theatre or another social event.”

Carols were sung and the Christmas lights were switched on.

The Thomas Lord pub provided a Christmas buffet for fair-goers.
