Who were these people at a police dinner?

PETERSFIELD Museum’s extensive photographic archive holds more than 100,000 photographs of life in Petersfield and surrounding villages.

Dating as far back as the Victorian period, these photographs represent all areas of life in Petersfield and act as a window into Petersfield in days gone by.

Many of these photographs have been used in Petersfield Museum’s new book Policing Petersfield: 1840–2016.

We are always looking to put stories to the photographs in our archives and we would love to hear from you if you can tell us more about this photograph, simply described as ‘Police Dinner’, from the 1960s.
